Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture
∎ M.S/ B.SC in Agriculture in any of the Agriculture Training Institute under Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
∎ Skills Required: Field Supervisor, Field Work
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
agro based farm, Seed Production from a reputed Seed Production organization
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Farming
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute Potato base yearly exportable Crop Production Program by aligning both volume and cost targets.
∎ Ensure required preparation for suitable block (Land)/actual farmer selection and generate good relationships with farmers for smooth execution of Production targets.
∎ Ensure Quality Processed/Export & Seed Potato Production by aligning required intercultural Operations i.e. Fertilizer Application, Pesticide & Fungicide Management, Irrigation, Weeding, Roughing, and Labor Management.
∎ To ensure all data collection of farmer and cultivated crops by field officer.
∎ Ensure contract grower's agreement & execute capacity-building training of contract growers.
∎ Justify impute distribution properly within contract growers.
∎ Check Rouging, Spraying, and Intercultural activities and report to the supervisor.
∎ Accomplish Field Curing, Shade Curing, Sorting and Grading.
∎ To ensure Product Collection and Storage smoothly.
∎ To arrange all documents for ensuring farmer payment smoothly.
∎ Maintain Stock and all documents regularly.
∎ Supervise Production Team, Labour, Farmer & other related person.
∎ Follow the safeguard reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

∎ Age at most 45 years

∎ Sound technical knowledge of potato and rice production.
∎ Excellent interpersonal Skill, Presentation & Facilitation Skills including the ability to work in Team.
∎ Willingness to travel regularly at field/ remote (Char) Areas.
∎ Willing to drive Motorcycle.
∎ Candidates having valid driving license and own Motorbike will be preferred.
∎ Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
∎ Smart, energetic, proactive, hardworking, self-motivated, Positive attitude, committed team player and dynamic.
∎ Must have typing skill in English and Bengali.
∎ Have good computer knowledge on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using Internet.
∎ Must be sincere and must be committed to Bangladesh.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the superior. Ability to work in stressful conditions and achieve the Target/ Results.
∎ Capable to work in Rural Areas.
∎ Reporting and Documentation Skills.
∎ Have good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and analytical.
∎ Have knowledge on People Management, Networking.
