Responsibilities & Context:
Handle end-to-end procurement of trims & accessories (labels, tags, tapes, zippers, threads, buttons, packaging items, etc.)
Identify, evaluate & onboard overseas suppliers (China, India, Vietnam, Turkey, Hong Kong, etc.)
Negotiate price, lead time, MOQ, payment terms with suppliers.
Prepare cost comparison, supplier evaluation & sourcing reports.
Handle complete overseas import process
Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Store & Commercial teams.
Ensure timely delivery of all trims as per production schedule.
Follow up with suppliers to avoid any shortage or delay.
Maintain procurement tracker, GRN, ordering calendar.
Update ERP/Excel regularly for accurate data.
Monitor inventory levels and raise orders accordingly.
Ensure supplier meets quality, compliance & documentation standards.
Conduct sample approval & follow up for bulk confirmation.
