Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Clearance and timely delivery of imported goods.·
∎ Coordinating customs examinations, ensuring accurate documentation and online report submissions.
∎ Resolve discrepancies or disputes that arise during inspections.
∎ Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are in place.
∎ Handle on-the-spot issues, including valuation disputes, duty adjustments, or other challenges.
∎ Obtaining gate passes and arranging transportation for goods delivery to importers..
∎ Collaborate with port authorities, transporters, and other stakeholders. to expedite processes.
∎ Maintaining records of customs clearance and import activities for compliance and audits.
∎ Assisting importers in resolving post-clearance issues such as refunds or disputes.
∎ Stay updated on Bangladeshi customs laws, tariffs, and duty structures
