Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelors in any discipline, science or engineering shall be preferred, with at least 5 years of working experience in any relevant field.
Job Context:
∎ M. Ahmed Group is a leading tea manufacturing company, established in 1921, with stakes in tea, rubber, textile, agro and cold storage.
∎ We are looking for smart, energetic and self-motivated candidate to join our IT team for the position of Executive (IT) at our Head Office in Sylhet.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work as part of a team to implement, train and monitor use of facial recognition system at our tea gardens and factories.
∎ Supervise, execute and manage overall facial recognition system including mobile app, mobile phones, Bluetooth scales, payroll and wages software and all other software and hardware functions at all gardens.
∎ Train and provide support to all staffs and executives using the hardware and software functions of the facial recognition system.
∎ Installing, configuring & maintenance of all computer (Desktop/Laptop) hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and other IT appliances.
∎ Prepare, Install, Configure & Setup and also provide extensive support to router, switch, PC, Laptop, UPS, PABX, CCTV, Head office Hardware and software issues instantly.
∎ Ensuring uninterrupted and trouble free operation of payroll and wages system software, as well as overall IT function of the company.
∎ Must be ready to do give emergency support 24/7 when required by Officer/Manager/Management.
∎ Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, application software including bill tracking, accounts software etc.
∎ Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solution both at Head Office and at tea estate office and factories.
∎ Performs minor repairs to equipment, arrange for any servicing needs and maintain liaison with software developers as and when required.
∎ Monitor backup systems and procedure to ensure data security.
∎ Coordination and management of various administrative issues.
∎ Resolving any situation & any other tasks assigned by the management.
∎ Advise and report all relevant matters to Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s) working experience in relevant field.
∎ Skills Required: Software Implementation, Hardware Knowledge, Database management and security, Computer Networks, Computer Troubleshooting, and Network Engineering.
∎ Adequate knowledge on hardware, software, networking and mobile phones/apps to isolate/diagnosis the problem.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Strong team spirit with excellent communication and organizational skills
∎ Proactive & self-organized with Strong enthusiasm and commitment towards establishing a long term career.
Salary:
∎ Salary Range: Appropriate to experience and qualification.
