Experience:
Assist line supervisors by preparing resource requirement plan (machines and equipment and manpower), line setting and line balancing etc.·
Assist production managers in target planning and production planning,·
Help merchandiser and marketing personnel by providing labor cost and production lead time,·
Prepare MIS reports and show management team product status on daily basis and alert management team if their attention is needed·
Set up standards operating procedures for new tasks, new process required for ever changing fashion products·
More than the regular jobs, IEs are also responsible for thinking of continuous process improvement.·
Initiation of new projects and implementation of the project that has been undertaken, showing the improvement opportunity within the factory to management team.·
Engineers are involved in performance improvement tasks of the cutting department and finishing department.
Plan and direct all Industrial Engineering aspects of Knit Garments;
Identify problems related to production productivity & provide feedback to the reporting authority;
Monitor and follow scheduled activities and resolve problems (if arises) based on present situation;
Analyze critical point & take corrective measure before starting of bulk production;
Maintain that product, materials and information stream flow are synchronized to produce maximum efficiency and lowest cost operation;
Ensure analysis of efficiency and utilization report, loss time, NPT report with category analysis;
Coordinate to implement New Product Introductions (NPI) within operations using more relevant KPI;
Maintain material and inventory control analysis, time study analysis for machines and set SMV; Monitor & assess of new operators` capacity & capability;
Supervise line feeding system and others SOP related IE activities as well as compliance;
Check the individual and line efficiency report;
Maintain liaison between team members & management as well as with other related department;
Any other assignments at the discretion of management.
