Responsibilities & Context:
Measuring and improving efficiency, productivity and capacity utilization.
Setting production targets and base targets based on operations.
Analyzing production processes to identify inefficiencies.
Designing and implementing process improvements to optimize productivity.
Monitoring and ensuring optimal use of resources (manpower, machinery, materials).
Coordinating with production teams to meet delivery targets.
Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production data.
Implementing lean tools like 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to improve processes.
Conducting time and motion studies to determine standard operating procedures.
Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities in operations.
Ensuring alignment between industrial engineering objectives and organizational goals.
Training and supporting staff in adopting new processes or technologies.
Measuring a skill matrix for new operators.
Carrying out pre-order and post-order costing & Thread consumption.
Ensuring that processes comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promoting a safe working environment through proper design and process controls.
