Education:

• Diploma in Electrical
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• Diploma in EEE/CSE, Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field. A High School Diploma is a minimum requirement, with vocational or technical training in electronics, or an associate`s degree in electronics, often preferred.

• Experience: A strong portfolio of repair work and at least six months of experience in electronics repair is often needed.

• On-the-Job Training: Some employers offer entry-level positions where you can gain experience through an internship or on-the-job training.

• Soldering: Strong soldering skills are essential for component-level repairs.

• Diagnostic Tools: Experience using tools like multimeters to test circuit components.

• Electronics Knowledge: Understanding of electronic circuits and the ability to comprehend circuit schematics.

• Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrable skills in circuit board repair.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Testing: Inspect PCBs, test components with a multimeter, and follow electronic schematics to identify faults.

• Repair: Perform component-level repairs, such as soldering, removing defective components, and repairing damaged traces or pads.

• Assembly: May also be involved in assembling and installing new PCBs or customizing electronic components.

• Inventory and Documentation: Keep track of necessary parts and ensure the repaired boards are functioning correctly before returning them.

• Safety: Follow safety procedures, such as lockout/tagout, when working on equipment.

• Salary: Negotiable (A competitive compensation package will be offered to qualified candidates, taking into account their relevant experience.)
