Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement the overall strategic vision for the cold storage facility in alignment with organizational goals.
∎ Identify opportunities for business growth, market expansion, and optimization of operations.
∎ Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the cold storage facility, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
∎ Oversee inventory management, quality control, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
∎ Implement best practices for the handling and preservation of products in cold storage.
∎ Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
∎ Provide strong leadership to a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
∎ Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to meet operational objectives·
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
∎ Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
∎ Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and innovations in cold storage management.
