∎ Master/ Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering /Environmental Science
∎ ISO45001/ISO18001/SA8000 certified will be given preference

∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Chemical, Compliance, Environment
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments Accessories
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To develop, implement and maintain the organization's compliance standard, occupational health & safety, Chemical safety, Environmental safety as per local law and retailer code of conduct.
∎ To conduct internal audit in the light of Labor Law, Factory Rules, buyers COC, ZDHC & Higg index guideline and prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit reports.
∎ To face 3rd party audits, Brand visit and able to take necessary initiative to remedy of all non-compliance findings consecutively.
∎ Follow the RSL & MRSL and maintain strictly. Ensure to collect original MSDS, TDS, Guaranty letter and other certificates from suppliers.
∎ Ensure the guideline of ZDHC & Higg Index about Energy Use i.e. GHG, Water, Waste Water, Waste Management, Chemical Management and Sludge Management
∎ Arrange group discussions, meeting, conduct all necessary in-house training programmers and fire/Chemical drill in every month.
∎ Review and update all legal documents/certificate/license time to time by communicating with the specific authorities.
∎ Maintain a good relation between worker and management to avoid any grievance.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Proficient in MS Office Package
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in English
∎ Should have sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Act-2006, Amendment act -2013, Srom Bidhimala 2015, Higg Index, ZDHC guideline.
∎ Should have sound knowledge in Accord, Alliance & Nirapon.
∎ Able to work in stressful situation.
∎ Adaptable, pro-active, innovative and must be able to work independently
∎ Candidate should have good interpersonal, communication skills, honesty & Integrity.
