Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ BSC/MSC in Environmental Science/Chemistry
∎ ISO 14001, ISO 45001
∎ Knowledge and practical experience in Higg, ZDHC, In-Check, Sedex, and BSCI
∎ Knowledge and practical experience about Nirapon (structural and fire safety)
∎ Fire Safety Managerial Course by Fire Service and Civil Defense
∎ Hard-working and a good team player
∎ Good presentation and training skills
∎ Through understanding of all social compliance and environmental processes
∎ Chemical Management Process
∎ Organized and detail-oriented.
∎ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure strict adherence to local laws and the RBO COC (Code of Conduct) within the factory premises.
∎ Collaborate with brand representatives and third-party auditors to conduct various audits, such as SEDEX, ICS, ISO 14001, GRS, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, HIGG-Fem & FSLM, NIRAPON, and buyer audits.
∎ Develop and execute a monthly and quarterly internal environmental and social audit plan, ensuring timely follow-up and corrective actions.
∎ Maintain effective communication with government offices, including the Fire & Civil Defense Department, Labor Office, Factory Inspector Office, and Environmental Inspector Office.
∎ Prepare job safety analyses and risk assessments, providing relevant training to staff for maintaining a safe work environment.
∎ Update and maintain all safety and environmental documents as required by regulations and standards.
∎ Prioritize employee health and safety concerns, welfare activities, and environmental safety initiatives.
∎ Ensure timely completion of yearly compliance and environmental tests, including drinking water quality, wastewater, air quality, noise levels, light conditions, and ZDHC testing.
∎ Oversee the daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
∎ Manage chemical inventory, maintain chemical Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and prepare MSDS and labels in both English and Bengali. Oversee floor-level chemical management.
∎ Facilitate the formation of various committees, including Health & Safety, Canteen, and Anti-Harassment Committees. Organize committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
∎ Ensure that all Nirapon documentation pertaining to both structural and electrical aspects is current and up-to-date.
∎ Provide comprehensive training programs related to compliance, safety, and environmental practices.
∎ Be responsive to assignments and directives from higher authorities as needed.
