Job Context:
∎ In this role, you have to mentality to taking challenges in Sea & with water, visit sites and premises as part of a regular inspection program.
∎ To be a part of the OGC & Minerals Team, you must be able to perform the following Job Responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ascertaining of quantity and Supervision of loading / discharge of cargo at outer anchorage /Chittagong /Mongla /Moheskhali.
∎ Drawing of sample from the mother vessel at outer anchorage/Chittagong/Mongla/Moheskhali /Floating Storage Regasification Unit(FSRU)
∎ Responsible for detailed instruction provided by the Operations Supervisor of their section.
∎ Review of job instruction prior to inspection ensuring that everything is in order,
∎ Ascertaining of quantity of cargo/Liquified Natural GAS(LNG) at Moheshkhali deep sea and Liquified petroleum gas (LPG) at Chittagong and Payra.
∎ Supervise loading, unloading and transshipment of bulk liquid product, crude and gas tankers.
∎ Inspect shore tanks, ships' tanks, related pumps and lines for cleanliness and perform wall wash when required.
∎ Measure shore tanks and ships' tanks and ascertain volumes and weights of cargo according to SGS Standard method of calculation.
∎ Take action to prevent possible contamination during loading or unloading.
∎ Reconcile any variance after loading or unloading.
∎ Record all timings and occurrences during loading or unloading and issue NOAD or LOP to Chief Officer or terminal.
∎ Prepare all necessary tools, instruments and documentation needed to perform inspection.
∎ Check draft field report and organize report before handing over to Operations Supervisor.
∎ Keep the respective Operations head updated on the daily activities in the terminal including special circumstances/problems encountered during inspection.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ *He/She has to know how to swim & No phobia of water
∎ Speaking and writing in English.
∎ Having computer knowledge (MS Word and Excel)
∎ Prefer knowledge on jobs of LNG/LPG/any gaseous products/ Clinker/Coal/Aggregate
∎ Travel extensively in anywhere in the country
∎ Able to work independently.
∎ Apply judgment and act accordingly.
