Sound knowledge of VAT & SD Act, 2012 and relevant Mushak forms.
Practical experience in manufacturing/factory VAT compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software ERP- Oracle EBS and MS Excel.
Ability to work with production, store, and commercial teams.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to meet statutory deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
Maintain daily accounts and post vouchers in the accounting system.
Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushak 9.1) as per VAT & SD Act, 2012.
Maintain VAT registers, Mushak forms, and related records for manufacturing operations.
Coordinate with production, store, and commercial departments for VAT compliance.
Monitor raw materials, production, and finished goods from an accounts & VAT perspective.
Assist in monthly financial closing, bank reconciliation, and audit support.
Ensure compliance with statutory, VAT, and company policies.
Communicate with VAT authorities when required and support VAT assessments or inspections.
Perform any other accounts-related tasks as assigned by the management.
