Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS) in Environmental Science

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring Environmental Compliance according to the Bangladesh Environmental Conservation Act.
∎ Prepare all policies and documentation for EMS, EMP, CMP, OHSAS and energy efficiency for factory.
∎ Ensuring all chemicals RSL, MRSL & ZDHC declaration letter from suppliers.
∎ Maintaining Chemical Inventory, Chemicals risk assessment and hazard control as per buyer requirements.
∎ Representing the company during the COC audit of different buyers.
∎ Performing Training Needs Assessment and providing training to the workers.
∎ Sustainability Higg index, VF/ Kontoor, Better Work , Gap, Target, H&M buyer Analysis and others Buyers.
∎ Ensuring Environmental health and safety.
∎ Responsible for ensuring DETOX/ ZDHC requirements. Implementing Detox also all environmental audit like HIGG index and PACT.
∎ Assist in training and awareness building workshop with workers and staffs for work place safety and environmental conservation and safe chemical handling, Chemical Drill, labeling MSDS and proper document awareness build up to worker
∎ To work through buyer COC and monthly aspect impact analysis
∎ Assist in doing internal compliance audit and preparing of buyer and government audit and ETP monitoring.
∎ Prepare factory Corrective action Plan and its implementation as per observation followed time to time in respect of Environmental Audit.
∎ Should have knowledge on ETP, resource consumption, Air emission, water discharge, Waste generation etc & setting strategies to reduce the energy consumption and Air Emission.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have sound knowledge in Computer.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
∎ Applicants must have a willingness and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work in a stressful situation.
