Job Context:
∎ Jamia Rawjatul Uloom Dhaka - Lil Atfal is the pioneering institution in the country seeking to provide both religious and general education at the international standard: students will study both the Qawmi Madrasa as well as the Cambridge IGCSE syllabi.
∎ The institution was established on 30 May 2021 and is still in its infancy, and hence seeking dynamic individuals with the foresight, ambition and capability to directly contribute towards institutional development.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ School hours: SAT-THU, 8 AM to 4 PM
∎ 1) CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT: the candidate will develop the curriculum for the assigned subjects by tailoring and/or shortening the Cambridge Primary curriculum in consideration of the time constraints imposed by the dual education streams.
∎ 2) PEDAGOGICAL DEVELOPMENT: the candidate shall develop and implement novel and innovative teaching techniques across the general education department in order to create an engaging and learning environment, leading to holistic development (i.e., teaching should transmit skills and creativity in addition to information) and generating the most effective learning and development outcomes.
∎ 3) LESSON planning, Conducting lessons and Assessments at primary and/or secondary level
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM TWO YEARS in the elementary/primary section as a teacher at a registered school.
∎ PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Strong religious commitment, as evidenced by character, attire and appearance, would be a major advantage.
∎ Strong motivation to serve the madrasa and benefit from the religious environment of the institution would also be a major advantage.
∎ CERTIFICATION: IELTS score of 7.0 or above would receive preference
∎ ACCENT: Preferably British, otherwise American accent holders would receive preference
Salary: Tk. 15000 - 20000 (Monthly)
