Experience:
Emotional Well-being: Provide a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for children, helping them transition smoothly into madrasaha life and manage separation anxiety.
Daily Monitoring: Supervise students during break times, transition periods, and extracurricular activities to ensure physical safety and disciplined behavior.
Behavioral Guidance: Counsel students using positive reinforcement, Islamic ethics, and gentle guidance to resolve minor conflicts and encourage good manners (Akhlaq).
First Aid & Health Support: Coordinate with the school nurse/administration to handle minor injuries, illnesses, or emotional distress promptly.
Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main liaison between parents and the madrasaha, ensuring timely, empathetic, and professional communication.
Progress Updates: Regularly update parents regarding their child's academic engagement, behavioral progress, and emotional well-being via meetings, phone calls, or digital portals.
Grievance Resolution: Listen actively to parent concerns, inquiries, or feedback, and work collaboratively with the administration to resolve issues constructively.
Onboarding & Events: Assist in welcoming new families during admissions, orienting them to madrasaha policies, and coordinating parent-teacher meetings or institutional events.
Maintain accurate daily attendance records, incident logs, and communication logs with parents.
Collaborate closely with teachers and administration to identify students needing extra pastoral attention.
Support school management in organizing student welfare programs and parent engagement workshops.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Work, or a related field (Degrees from Islamic or English Medium backgrounds are an added advantage).
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven experience in student counseling, childcare, teaching, or customer/client relationship management.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Bengali (spoken and written); Arabic comprehension is a strong plus.
