Experience

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
• Proven experience working in a garments electrical workshop
• Practical experience as a generator operator
• 6-month Fire Safety course preferred

Other

• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with spare parts Machine etc.,
• Knowledge of cutting, grinding, drilling and welding practices
• Understanding of basic electrical control systems and wiring
• Ability to read and follow machine control drawings
• Knowledge of garments Accessories processes is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of local fire safety laws, BNBC, and international compliance standards.
• Audit-facing experience will be an advantage

Skills & Attributes

• Valid ABC/BC Electrician license (mandatory)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with spare parts replacement

About The Position

Global Premium Accessories Ltd. is a growing supplier to the garments industry. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Electrician & Mechanical Operator to join our maintenance team and ensure smooth production operations. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, safety-minded, and experienced with factory machinery and generators, with strong knowledge of fire safety systems, fire prevention practices, and emergency response procedures in a garments manufacturing environment. Main Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair all types of garment accessories (Drawstring/ Drawcord, Twill Tape, Elastic & Sewing Thread) -related machines and their electrical systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on generators; ensure cleanliness and readiness at the start of each shift.
• Monitor generator fuel and oil levels; arrange fuel transfer from pump to generator as directed by management.
• Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling and welding work as required for repairs and installations.
• Carry out electrical wiring, troubleshooting and basic control system repairs.
• Ensure regular scheduled servicing of the generator and other critical equipment.
• Assist during fire, safety, and compliance audits (BNBC, Accord/Alliance, Nirapon)
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of fire-fighting equipment, fire alarms, emergency lighting, exits, and evacuation signage.
• Maintain and update maintenance reports and service records.
• Server Room Maintain
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management to support production and maintenance.
