Experience:
B.Sc in EEE, Construction Management or a related field.
It is better to have work experience in a consultancy firm.
Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimation in the local market are welcome. Similar in-field or remote work experience in Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, North American Country or European country are preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations in Australia and or New Zealand or have that mentality to learn fast.
Proficiency in estimating software and a solid understanding of electrical systems and installations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strong verbal communication skills in English, Excel, AutoCAD expertise & soft skill are must.
Australia-based Electrical Design & Construction and products manufacturing company looking for 2(Two) qualified Electrical Estimators. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of electrical projects, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring project profitability.
Responsibilities:
Estimating:
Review & understand project specifications, drawings, and blueprints to determine the scope of work.
Calculate material costs, Material Take-off, labor hours, and equipment specification.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects/BOQ, including wiring, fixtures, materials and systems.
Proposal Development:
Develop comprehensive proposals for electrical projects, including pricing, terms and conditions, and project timelines.
Project Management:
Collaborate with the project manager and other estimators to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Research current market trends, materials, and labor costs to ensure competitive pricing.
Ensure estimates comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Cost Control:
Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and identify potential cost overruns.
Implement strategies to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
Technology & Software Utilization:
Utilize estimating software for accurate project assessments.
Analyze historical data and previous estimates to improve future projections
Bid Preparation: Participate in bid reviews and clarify estimate details with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Client & Vendor Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers & contractors to secure competitive pricing.
Communicate with suppliers to address concerns and refine project requirements.
Candidate may need to know:
Office location: Jashim Uddin, Uttara
Working hours: Monday to Friday, starting from 6:30 am. 45 hours a week.
Collaborate with different departments located in Sydney & Hongkong.
Employment Type: Full-Time, with no remote job option available.
