∎ Plan International Bangladesh is looking for the Education Specialist for its "Girls Get Equal: (Integrated approach to end child early and forced marriage)" project who will lead, organize and develop strategic directions for the education programme to ensure synchronized programme implementation and will oversee implementation process and quality of educational interventions according to developed guideline/standards.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support Project Manager to develop Project implementation plan and support partner ensuring quality project implementation meeting compliances of both Plan International and Donor
∎ Establish Project MIS to generate information for monitoring and management decisions
∎ Develop training manuals/modules, tools, guidelines, resource materials to strengthen school authority and community people to contribute for exclusive gender responsive quality education
∎ Coordinate and facilitate ToT/refresher trainings for partner staff at Barguna/division level considering the programme/project(s) strategy and framework.
∎ Promote collaborative relationships, networking, and advocating project approaches to concerned authorities
∎ Support PM to prepare donor reports in timely manner and in required format
∎ Ensure proper financial utilization and adjustment/readjustment of budget as required; assist PM to develop the annual project budget
∎ Ensures that Plan International's global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility..
Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for a competent and committed professional holding an Master in Social Science (Degree in Education will be preferred) with having at least 5 years' experience with partners in implementing formal and non-formal education project preferably in mainstream education project.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary Package: BDT. 85000.00 (monthly) along with other benefits i.e.,. hospitalization benefit for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, group insurance and yearly medical check-up for employee.
