  • What we expect:
  • 2–4 years’ hands-on experience in e-commerce merchandising, web analytics, or digital marketing — fashion retail preferred.
  • Practical experience with GA4 and a session/heatmap tool (Hotjar, Clarity, FullStory or similar).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms or experimentation frameworks.
  • Hands-on with CMS/e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, or similar). Ability to upload and manage SKUs quickly and accurately.
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable with data, funnels and KPI tracking.
  • Good visual sense for product presentation, storytelling and category curation.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and proactive with bias for quick, measurable improvements.
  • Fluent in English. German or French is a plus.
  • Preferred / nice-to-have:
  • Experience with SQL / basic data queries or dashboard tools (Looker, Power BI, Data Studio).
  • Prior experience in a fast-fashion or multi-category e-commerce environment.
  • Portfolio or examples of merchandising work, A/B test case studies or before/after conversion wins.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a data-driven and creative Web Merchandiser to own daily catalogue operations and continuously improve website conversion. You’ll combine visual merchandising, GA4/behavioral analytics and CRO to turn browsing into buying. 3–6 years’ experience in fashion or retail e-commerce preferred.

Key responsibilities:

  • Upload and maintain product listings: images, descriptions, variants, prices, SKUs and stock availability.
  • Merchandise homepage, landing pages and category pages based on performance, campaign priority and stock.
  • Curate product recommendations and cross-sell placements (manual + rules-driven).
  • Monitor live pages for QA — correct visuals, sizes, links, and product metadata.
  • Use GA4 and session-recording tools (e.g., Hotjar, Clarity) to analyze funnels, click maps, scroll depth and add-to-cart behavior.
  • Generate hypotheses, run A/B tests and implement quick wins that improve conversion and engagement.
  • Coordinate with buying/planning, marketing, UX and IT to execute merchandising and CRO changes.
  • Track and report daily/weekly/monthly KPIs: conversion rate, add-to-cart rate, bounce rate, top/bottom performing SKUs and categories.
  • Build dashboards and regular summaries for e-commerce and marketing stakeholders.

KPIs / success measures:

  1. % improvement in site conversion (quarterly).
  2. Add-to-cart to purchase conversion rate.
  3. Reduction in friction points identified via heatmaps (drop-offs).
  4. Accuracy of catalogue data (target 99%+).
  5. Speed of executing promotional merchandising changes (SLA).
