• Good Understanding of E1, STM, TCP/IP, SS7 and Data Communication.

• Understanding SDH/PDH transmission link.

• Must be able to perform Night shift Duty.

• Ability to work under pressure and determined to meet deadlines

Position Overview:

The Junior System Engineer – Operations is responsible for 24/7 monitoring of telecom and IT systems to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. The role involves analyzing live alarms, traffic performance, and network faults, and escalating critical issues within defined timelines. The position supports QoS monitoring, routing optimization, and coordination with internal teams and external operators. Working on a roster basis, including night shifts, the role also provides Level-1 IT support and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor live alarms 24/7 to detect faults and escalate critical issues promptly.

• QoS Performance monitoring based on route utilization, ASR, NER, ACD.

• Periodic visual inspection of equipment for temperature and Humidity.

• Generate detailed whole day reports on daily traffic performance.

• Produce and analyze various types of Quarry reports.

• Maintain communication between the other ANS, IOS/IGW and IPTSP operators during fault and performance issues.

• Modify traffic routing based on operational instruction to ensure optimal performance.

• Analyze different kinds of alarm in system which are created from SBC, Soft Switch, Media Gateway, MUX and L3 switch.

• Analyze Network fault / incident, reporting and management notification.

• Analyze the SIP & TDM errors codes

• Creating task management from the system according to performance monitoring & customer demand.

• Transmission fault detection and escalate within timeline.

• Uninterrupted service for Battery voltage monitoring.

• Monitoring the concurrent traffic to check the instant status.
