Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a highly coordinated e-commerce manager to oversee the development and utility of our company`s income-generating sites. The e-commerce manager will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of strategies by inspecting standardized metrics. In so doing, you should lead teams of staff, ensuring that you are available to furnish pertinent individuals with practical guidance, as required.
∎ To ensure success as an e-commerce manager, you should remain knowledgeable about relevant trends and innovations in e-commerce. Ultimately, a brilliant E-commerce manager will endeavour to enhance their skill set by continually learning about adjacent techniques that might improve collaboration between departments.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devising strategies that harness sales-related insights, prevailing standards, and novel developments to encourage sales in our online store.
∎ Creating frameworks that transform our social media sites into highly profitable platforms.
∎ Directing the activities of software developers, copywriters, and graphic designers to ensure careful adherence to predetermined strategies.
∎ Reviewing the security of checkout pages and payment procedures.
∎ Creating promotional offers and checking to see that these are uploaded precisely.
∎ Reviewing copy and legal disclaimers to verify their accuracy.
∎ Analysing traffic to inform website maintenance and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
∎ Examining sales-related metrics to inform restocks.
∎ Reporting on the utility of existing and novel strategies.
∎ Develop strategy, implement, manage, and optimize SEO strategy
∎ Management of external SEO suppliers
∎ Help internal teams to develop knowledge and skills in best SEO practice
∎ Manage online assortment of Sundora & partner online channels.
∎ Execute and apply all required changes for marketing and promotional campaign.
∎ Ensure an efficient e-merchandising: challenge product assortment, catalogue structure and navigate, landing pages.
∎ Track key business indicators and ensure regular with high value-added analysis.
∎ Identify onsite improvement opportunities and work closely with IT to implement solutions in order to optimize conversion rates.
∎ Developing, monitoring, writing and updating product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals.
∎ Working with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms.
∎ Possessing a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends.
∎ Monitoring web traffic statistics and generating reports using analytical tools to analyze and evaluate the performance of the campaigns.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years of experience as an e-commerce manager.
∎ Microsoft Office experience and tech savvy preferred.
∎ Completion of a pertinent sales qualification is preferred.
∎ Demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies.
∎ Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce.
∎ Unmatched supervision, research, and troubleshooting skills.
∎ Exceptional consulting and quality assurance abilities.
∎ Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
∎ Ability to travel inside BD, position based in Dhaka with travels as business requires.
∎ Passionate about Beauty and able to convey this passion to the team and the clients.
∎ Empathetic and positive, results-oriented, and with an entrepreneurial mindset to develop the business.
∎ Team player and strong listener, in addition to knowledge of how to recruit and build a high-performing and collaborative team. Effective communication skills required.
∎ Resourceful and strong analytic skills for proactive problem solving and for improving the store management on a continuous basis.
∎ Able to understand and maintain confidentiality of business.
∎ Availability must meet the needs of the business.
∎ Limited travel based on needs of the business.
∎ Ability to speak multiple languages is welcomed, fluent English (written and spoken) is a must and Bengali will be a plus.
