Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase market share for the makeup category
∎ Work closely with the buying team to identify trends, source new products, and develop product assortments.
∎ Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
∎ Monitor competitors and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
∎ Develop and execute promotional and marketing plans to drive sales
∎ Manage the P&L for the makeup category and achieve budgeted sales and gross margin goals
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and visual merchandising, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and in-store execution
∎ Drive customer loyalty and engagement by identifying consumer insights and trends and creating customer-centric strategies.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 7+ years experience in a category management role, within the makeup and skin care industry.
∎ Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
∎ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
∎ Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Experience with product development and sourcing.
∎ Strong understanding of the makeup industry, including trends, products, and competitors.
∎ Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L management.
∎ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
∎ Experience with e-commerce and digital marketing is a plus.
∎ Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
∎ Fluent in English and conversational Hindi is required.
