Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Source raw materials, finished goods, machinery, and spare parts from Bangladesh and international markets.
∎ Develop sourcing strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best purchase terms in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
∎ Plan and manage material procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels.
∎ Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute all operational and maintenance activities.
∎ Supervise the layout, installation, testing, and operation of machinery in the factory.
∎ Ensure the quality of products and optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
∎ Monitor and resolve production issues such as breakdowns, quality faults, and inefficiencies.
∎ Identify root causes of operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
∎ Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Monitor supply chain efficiency to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
∎ Implement cost control measures to improve company profitability.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
∎ Drive innovation and strategies to develop the business and ensure long-term growth.
∎ Ensure compliance with quality standards and best industry practices.
∎ Reports directly to senior management.
∎ Collaborates with procurement, production, and logistics teams.
∎ Works in an office and factory environment with occasional travel for sourcing and supplier meetings.

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of production, maintenance, and supply chain management. This role involves sourcing raw materials, finished goods, machinery, and spare parts from both domestic and international suppliers. The incumbent will ensure efficient utilization of resources, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement for operational excellence.
