Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, social science, business studies, environmental studies, development studies, economics, or any related field.

• Age 30 to 45 years

• At least 10 years of professional experience in the fields of waste management, environmental, and climate change adaptation.
• Specific experience in leading activity implementation of waste management.

Community Development Centre (CODEC) is seeking qualified Bangladeshi professionals for the as a part of project proposal development for a tentative project that will address waste management , promote environmental sustainability, advance climate change adaptation, and strengthen inclusive community engagement in Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, and Tangail.

As part of our preparation, we are tentatively collecting CVs from qualified and interested candidates for potential future positions.

The District Coordinator (s) will be liable for the city corporation-level project implementation. They will assist to city corporation-level project team in project implementation. They will maintain a close link-up at the city corporation level and other authorities accordingly. The District Coordinator (s) will guide the Community Engagement and Inclusion Officers in project implementation. They will work under the guidance of the Senior District Coordinator and report to them.

The District Coordinator, reporting to the Senior District Coordinator, will oversee implementation of all project activities in the assigned district. Responsibilities include:

• Lead and coordinate district-level project activities in line with the work plan.
• Ensure regular communication and coordination with Municipalities, City Corporations, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise the Community Engagement & Inclusion Officer to ensure timely and accurate ECOPIA data input.
• Monitor outputs, ensure gender and environmental safeguards, and support quality delivery.
• Manage district-level budgets and expenditures in line with project guidelines.
• Prepare and submit financial, progress, and other reports (monthly, quarterly, and as required).
• Document lessons, challenges, and best practices for adaptive management.
• Ensure beneficiary data, training, and outreach activities are properly recorded and reported.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Senior District Coordinator or Donor.
