∎ Distribution Manager - Logistics responsibilities include:
∎ We are looking for a talented and qualified distribution manager to join our team. Distribution Manager should have the proper knowledge about modern trade where he has to do distribution of imported products, monitoring, stock monitoring and receiving purchase order. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order to oversee daily operations and logistics employees. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have a monitoring skill and organizing competency on stock monitoring and distribution to the supermall
∎ Warehouse maintaining and monitoring ability with maintaining good relations with the staffs and customers
∎ Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service in the inventory team
∎ Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
∎ Developing excellent relationships with suppliers and communicating about any issues or concerns that arise
∎ Work with warehouse and transportation staffs to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
∎ Perform cost negotiations with vendors and provide appropriate solutions for bulk distributions.
∎ Anticipate and resolve day-to-day issues, complete root cause failure analyses, and take corrective actions
∎ Arrange and plan out warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
∎ Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets, continuously look for improvements to operations
∎ Managing and allocating staff resources according to delivery needs, including managing training needs and setting objectives
∎ Work with sales and design to understand the critical path and sales order delivery schedule
∎ Ensure that company transport vehicles are maintained in good working conditions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
∎ In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry.
∎ Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
∎ Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
∎ Good commercial and business understanding
∎ Proven working experience as a Logistics and Distribution Manager (Import / Export)
∎ Commutable to Leeds
