Job Context:
∎ Work Location: RI Teknaf Office, Bangladesh
∎ Reporting to: Area Team Lead
∎ Department: DRR
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest
∎ Contract length: Up to March 2020
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Management and Implementation
∎ Responsible in implementing soft and hard DRR project/activities such as 1) Awareness raising activities of the community; 2) capacity building of the CPP volunteers; 3) small scale mitigation measures as identified in community risk assessment in assigned Union.
∎ Ensures timely and effective implementation of the program according to approved work plans and budget
∎ Ensures engagement and involvement of affected populations taking into consideration protection, environmental aspects and longer term needs are reflected in the program's technical design and implementation.
∎ Supports in the procurement associated with DRR and WASH activities
∎ Coordination and partnership
∎ Work closely with new partners at the community-level and other partners to proactively strengthen community-based awareness and early warning initiatives.
∎ Represents RI in meeting/consultation within his/her area of assignment, as the need arises.
∎ Monitoring and Reporting
∎ Conducts diligent monitoring of project activities within the AOR and acts on matters ,Monitors implementation of small scale mitigation measures
∎ Prepares and submits activity and monthly reports to his/her ATL
∎ Compiles daily record of his/her work in the field

∎ Able to prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
∎ Willingness to be assigned at Teknaf
∎ Able to work independently and within a team.
∎ Diligent in work processes.
∎ Flexible in schedule, attitude and work prioritization.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google software, particularly Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Word and MS Excel.
∎ Ability to speak in English
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
