Experience as a Director in a reputed MFI.

Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Sound knowledge of microfinance regulations, credit risk frameworks, and market trends.
Proficiency in relevant software and MIS tools used in credit and portfolio management.
Contribute in develop and implement strategic credit program aligned with the organization`s mission, growth targets, and regulatory framework.
Lead the end-to-end credit operations, including product design, client assessment, loan disbursement, portfolio monitoring, and recovery.
Design and execute risk management strategies to ensure a high-quality credit portfolio with controlled delinquency levels.
Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, generate insightful reports, and recommend corrective measures to mitigate risk.
Drive innovation in credit processes through the integration of data analytics, automation, and digital tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements related to credit and financial services.
Lead, coach, and build capacity within the credit team to ensure high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functional with Finance, Operations, Compliance, and IT teams to align credit functions with overall business goals.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging credit needs, risks, and opportunities for portfolio diversification and growth.
Represent the credit function in senior management meetings, board presentations, and external forums, ensuring clear communication of credit-related updates and strategies.
Lead the development and launch of inclusive credit products tailored to underserved and low-income client segments, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.
Champion a customer-centric approach while maintaining robust credit risk assessment and collection mechanisms.
