Experience:
Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a relevant discipline from any recognized university with minimum second class. Professional degree in chartered accountancy will be given preference.
The candidate’s age should not exceed 50 years as of the application deadline. However, the selection Board may consider candidate with higher age (not exceeding 55 years) if they find him adequately proficient and fit for the position.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the related field.
At least 5 years of senior-level experience as Director (Finance & Accounts)/Deputy Director (Finance & Accounts) or equivalent leadership position in any reputed NGO/development organization is preferred.
Comprehensive understanding of microfinance operations, portfolio management, financial sustainability, risk management, and data-driven management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and decision-making skills, with a high level of integrity, accountability and professional ethics.

UDDIPAN is seeking an ethical, dynamic, strategic and result-oriented Director (Finance & Accounts) to provide strategic financial leadership and ensure sound financial management, institutional financial sustainability, effective resource utilization, strong internal control and regulatory compliance. The Director (Finance & Accounts) will play a key role in supporting organizational growth, strengthening financial systems and enabling data-driven financial decision-making in alignment with UDDIPAN’s strategic objectives.
1. Financial Strategy, Planning & Budgeting
Develop and implement UDDIPAN’s financial strategy, annual budget and long-term financial sustainability plan in alignment with the organizational Strategic Plan.
Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, expenditure planning and performance monitoring.
Support detailed feasibility study of all financial decision-making in order to maintain organizational growth and performance.
2. Financial Management & Sustainability
Ensure sound financial management, effective resource utilization, and long-term financial sustainability.
Lead cost-efficiency, cost-control and financial performance improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities for income growth and diversification of financial resources.
3. Treasury, Fund Management & Resource Mobilization
Ensure effective treasury, liquidity and cash-flow management and optimal utilization of funds.
Lead financial resource mobilization from PKSF, commercial banks, NBFIs and other financing partners.
Manage loan negotiation, fund structuring and related financial arrangements.
4. Accounting, Reporting &Accounting Information System (AIS)
Ensure accurate and timely accounting, financial statements, management reports and regulatory submissions.
Strengthen AIS, dashboards and data-driven financial reporting for effective management decision-making.
Ensure proper financial record keeping and reporting across Head Office and field offices.
5. Internal Control, Risk Management & Compliance
Strengthen financial internal controls, risk management and financial discipline across the organization.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, tax requirements and requirements of MRA, NGO Affairs Bureau, PKSF and other relevant authorities.
Proactively identify financial risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures.
6. Audit & Financial Governance
Support and coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
Strengthen financial governance, transparency, accountability and control over organizational funds and expenditures.
7. Microfinance Financial Management
Oversee financial aspects of UDDIPAN’s microfinance operations, including portfolio performance, operational cost, provisioning and branch-level financial performance.
Provide financial analysis and advice to support sustainable microfinance growth and operational efficiency.
8. Digital Finance & Automation
Promote practical use of automation, digital tools, AIS and Fintech to improve financial efficiency, accuracy and transparency.
Reduce manual financial processes and strengthen timely, reliable and automated reporting.
9. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor and develop the Finance & Accounts team and strengthen financial capacity across Head Office and field offices.
Provide strategic financial advice to the Executive Director and Board.
Maintain effective relationships with regulators, PKSF, Banks, NBFIs, Donors, Auditors and other financial stakeholders.
