Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/MBS/MBA from a reputed University and CA/CMA (Partly Qualified)
∎ Skills Required: Well conversant with computer literacy.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Steel

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize, Monitor & Supervise overall day to day activities of VAT department.
∎ Comply with the provision of the Income Tax ordinance 1984, VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rules 2016.
∎ Ensuring compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations.
∎ Develop and Maintain Liaison with Government Regulatory bodies (NBR, BB, RJSC, SEC, BOI, DEDO).
∎ Manage VAT Return Submission, Documentation, Assessment, Hearings, and Appeal Tribunal submissions.
∎ Review complexity of Tax & VAT matter to overcome the barriers.
∎ Manage all VAT related queries and filings in the right manner and VAT planning for assessment of the company.
∎ Assist the management in keeping up-to-date with any relevant changes in VAT regulations.
∎ Guide the Management through provide innovative Tax & VAT planning.
∎ Review all financial records, systems, and control processes of the company as per accounting standards and tax laws.
∎ Work independently and have sufficient knowledge regarding Export-Import, Customs procedures, VAT & Tax rules.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Must be a team LEADER with good leadership skills specially analytical abilities and decision making attributes.
∎ Problem-solving abilities reference through the VAT and SD Act, 2012 including update amendment and practical experience.
∎ Sound Knowledge on Customs Act 1969, Import & Export Order, Import & Export (Control) Act 1950, and Foreign Exchange Regulation Act 1947.
∎ Sound Knowledge on VAT and SD Ordinance 2016 and Supplementary Customs Act 2016, and DEDO related task.
∎ Sound Knowledge of Customs Duty & Income Tax.
∎ Performing employee reviews and assessments.
∎ Should be well conversant with Oracle/ ERP modules / Accounting software.
∎ Proficiency in eVAT-software & Various report making, Tele conference and online Zoom Meeting decision.
∎ Good Liaison/ Communication Skills with Govt. & Non-Govt. Offices.
∎ Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
∎ Able to work independently to meet tight deadlines & Result oriented.
