Experience:

• 2 to 4 years

Safety Officer course or similar from any recognized organization.

• 2 to 4 years

1. At least 2-4 years of experience in Safety Department or relevant field.
2. Ex-employee of Fire service, Safety Agencies, Bangladesh Navy or other forces will be given preference.
3. Experience in Ship recycling Yard will be advantageous.
4. Strong Negotiation, Coordination and Convincing Skills.

1. Maintain a full functional and effective safety management system in the yard.

2. Prepare all safety standards, reports & documentation regarding safety issues.

3. Daily walk round/ field visit & ensure safety equipment and follow up the daily check list activities of the safety team.     

4. To ensure having personal safety equipment`s like mask, metal gloves, eye guard, goggles, ear plug, gum boot, rubber apron, ear plug for workers are working in yard.

5. Conduct the awareness program on rules and regulation, compliance & welfare issues, health, hygiene, safety & firefighting, first aid etc.

6. Conduct all types of Safety related tasks in the yard.

7. Ensure all compliance Standard as well as to face Fire safety audit when required.

8. Any others assignment given by the management
