Job Context:
∎ The position requires to play a vital role in attracting buyers and confirming the order, as the buyers generally places the order once satisfied with the quality and responsiveness of the sample & Pattern. The incumbent will be act as a change agent to accelerate production development and overall transformation. It requires to strong acumen & capacity to work under general direction and serves as the administrative and functional point person for the Garments Sample & Pattern matters. He / She will be act as a strategic thinker and manage all the functions related to development of Sample & Pattern issues.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyze sketches and samples, understanding Brand requirements and develop samples to ensuring feasibility of bulk production;
∎ Coordinate and communicate with the Brand on product related issues affecting to technical specifications and raw materials etc.;
∎ Clarifying the requirements and recommend alternative value-added options to the Brand for mutually beneficial solution;
∎ Work closely with the sample rooms and provide all required details to make all types of samples in a timely manner;
∎ Work with embellishment plant and conduct technical handovers if required and provide all required details to develop and make strike off;
∎ Follow -up with Brand for Development / SMS / Proto samples and etc. and comments in order to complete pre-production activities prior to start production;
∎ Conduct risk analysis meeting for new/complicated styles to ensure the product meets Brand's specifications / standards;
∎ Work closely with Brands to develop approved block patterns in order to utilized for confirmed styles and developments;
∎ Review all samples thoroughly and ensure all comments instructions followed prior to dispatch samples;
∎ Check the fittings on mannequin or live Models and ensure the correct block patterns;
∎ Regular communication with the respective merchandisers on product related issues affecting to fit, construction, technical specifications and raw materials etc.;
∎ Follow-up on all pre- production activities to proactively identify and solve all technical and operational issues related to new products;
∎ Ensure accurate and updated comments /workbook from the beginning and communicate technical details through the workbooks for each and every style;
∎ Ensure to review all the test reports and and maintain monthly sample records;
∎ Provide technical advice (sewing techniques, critical quality points etc.) to relevant staff and resolve critical day to day operational and technical issues;
∎ Coordination with the production teams to facilitate the smooth transition of the production process;
∎ Update merchandising teams, and work accordingly to the progress schedule in order to complete undertaken tasks on a timely manner;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 15 years’ experience in related field with 3-4 years in similar position;
∎ Must have experience in handling renowned buyers like H&M, C&A, Bestseller, Target Australia, Walmart, George, Espirit, Puma, G-Star, Decathlon, Gymboree, Lidl, M & S, Hugo Boss, etc.;
∎ Excellent team player, independent, positive attitude and result oriented;
∎ Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and all other levels in the factory;
∎ Strong people management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
∎ Job Location : Gazipur
