∎ Master's degree in Apparel Merchandising.
∎ Graduate/Master's in any discipline.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising, Production Management (Sewing)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for total merchandising department.
∎ Trouble shoots for any merchandising related problem.
∎ Foresee problem & discuss with superior for taking necessary steps
∎ Ensure proper co-ordination among Merchandising, Production, Sample & Commercial departments.
∎ Communicate clearly & promptly to customers.
∎ Actively supervise all important work related to pricing, sampling & sourcing.
∎ Train & supervise merchandisers.
∎ Set goals for merchandisers & evaluate their performance against their respective targets.
∎ Check product specification details & explain to others.
∎ Participate in product development.
∎ Market products to other potential customers.
∎ Negotiate price with suppliers.
∎ Determine suitable supplier with best price, quality & delivery offer.
∎ Attend meeting with customers for price negotiation & periodic updates
∎ Any others task ordered by management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 34 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates having minimum 8 years of hands on experience in managing Merchandising activities of export oriented knit Garment products in reputed factories are only encouraged to apply.
∎ The candidate should have sound knowledge on knit products & its costing and should be capable to follow up orders from order taking to shipment.
∎ The candidate should have the capacity to source new buyers & maintain effective liaison with existing/new buyers in connection with taking profitable orders & meeting export target.
∎ Should have proven Leadership & coordination skills
∎ Should be self-motivated, sincere and have excellent negotiation skills
∎ Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.
Salary: Negotiable
