Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the commercial (import, export and bond) functioning of the group, execute it timely and cost effectively.
∎ Review or update commercial activities/practices in accordance with new or changing standards, regulations and laws of national and international. Manage and control customs and revenue activities related to the company.
∎ Maintain proper liaison with BEPZA, Customs, VAT, Bond, Freight Forwarder, C&F, BGMEA, BKMEA, Shipping Line, concern Bank, Trade Bodies, Insurance Companies and related Govt bodies as well as Production, Sourcing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Engineering and other related department for smooth functions of commercial activities.
∎ Candidate must have the practical working experience in the area of BTB, L/C and collect PRC from Bank.
∎ Applicant should have adequate knowledge on HS code, Customs Act, Export Policy Bond formalities and other related laws applicable for export and Import as well as all banking terms and documentations.
∎ Preparing monthly/periodic comprehensive import and export statements with detailed coverage of all shipment quantities (excess shipments/short shipments), back-to-back expenditure, associated commercial/banking expenditures, buyer/agent/sourcing house commission and short payments received etc.
∎ Obtain/renewal of all kind of related licenses e.g. ERC, IRC, Trade License, RADE, TIN, VAT, EPB, BGMEA, BTMEA and Fire License.
∎ Follow up with concern team member of EPB related work for issuance of CO/GSP/SAFTA/APTA/KPT/CHINA C/o and if any. Communicate with Banks for timely collection of Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC).
∎ To maintain in-bond and ex-bond register with custom. Prepare yearly import and export customs statement for Bond Audit. Responsible for Bond Licensing, Customs Auditing and related issues with Customs Bond.
∎ Any other task assign by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Sound knowledge in CTPAT audit process, the candidate must have experience in the RMG sector.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on HS code, Customs Act, Import Policy, Export Policy, Bond formalities and other related laws applicable for Import & Export Uniform Customs Procedure and International Standard Banking Procedure.
∎ Sound knowledge on MS Word and MS Excel.
∎ Excellent verbal and written skill in Bengali and English.
