∎ Degree in knitwear design or Fashion Design
∎ Skills Required: Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, Presentation skill, Strong communication skills
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Serve as liaison between Design, Product Development, Sweater- sampling team and Merchandising to ensure information flow is accurate throughout the development process
∎ Manage technical package process, to include drawings, measurements, and design detail specifications, as well as hand-off to Product Development.
∎ Thorough knowledge of the line (silhouettes, yarns, and design details) and responsible for tracking changes/additions
∎ Design archives library
∎ Developing Specification sheets, trim sheets
∎ Generate design ideas
∎ Identifying seasonal fashion direction, assortment opportunities and merchandise trends for area of responsibility
∎ Design Presentation Boards; Research competitive market and present results
∎ Conduct fit sessions
∎ Interface professionally and work effectively in group settings
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 30 years
∎ Strong sketching and illustration ability
∎ Strong fashion, color, structure and print sense
∎ Highly organized with capacity to anticipate change
