Educational Requirements:
∎ MPH (Masters in Public Health) with MSS (Sociology/Anthropology)/MDS (Masters in Development Studies) or any other relevant fields. Candidates with MBBS will be preferred

Job Context:
∎ Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is one of the leading organization dedicated to public health research in Bangladesh. The centre is now looking for a qualified person to fulfil the following vacant position immediately to work in child drowning prevention programme in Barishal divisions under BHASA Project
∎ Job location: Kolapara (Patuakhali) with extensive field visit
∎ Duration: Initial appointment will be for 12 months (with possibility for further extension based on performance and funding availability) including 3 months` probation period

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deputy Team Leader (Field Operation) will perform the following duties under the guidance of the Team Leader of BHASA Project:
∎
∎ Implement of BHASA project activities at the field level
∎ Monitor project progress as per work plan in accordance with the project targets and goals
∎ Evaluate the project progress as per work plan in accordance with the project targets and organizational mission/goals
∎ Supervise field level staff and manage any issues arising there
∎ Coordinate and establish networking with different stakeholders at Upazilla, District and Divisional level
∎ Prepare regular work plan (yearly, quarterly, monthly)
∎ Participate and facilitate in project related meetings and trainings
∎ Prepare project reports and share with line supervisor
∎ Manage HR & Admin issues and financial dealings at the field level
∎ Maintain liaison with DGHS, development partners and other NGOs at the regional and divisional level

Additional Requirements:
∎ 6-8 years experiences on Project Management and Field Operation
∎ KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:
∎ Excellent project cycle management knowledge
∎ Managerial proficiency in facilitation, motivation along with leadership capacity to coordinate with field staff for superlative data and update reporting of the program
∎ Strong organizational skills and produce deliverables under tight schedule
∎ Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English particularly in drafting reports
∎ Knowledge on basic computer applications (MS-Word, MS-Excel, Power-Point, MS-Access etc.) and data analysis software (SPSS & STATA).

Salary:
∎ Consolidated monthly salary is Tk. 51,396 with other admissible benefits as per organizational policy.
