Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare Plumbing design for RAJUK approval & Fire Safety plan for the Fire Department.
Prepare plumbing system designs, including water supply, drainage, sanitary, and stormwater systems.
Prepare fire-fighting system designs (Including Detection, sprinklers, hydrants, and hose reels) in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications.
Develop schematics, layouts, and detailed drawings for plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems using CAD/BIM software.
Develop detailed drawings for Plantation, Water body, etc.
Ensure designs comply with international standards (BNBC, NFPA).
Calculate water demand, drainage loads, and pipe sizing for residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
Integrate plumbing & Firefighting systems with other MEP services to avoid clashes and ensure coordination.
Ensure plumbing designs meet building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements.
Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and HVAC teams for clash-free designs.
Coordinate with site teams & others to resolve design-related issues during execution.
Frequent Site inspections to ensure design implementation and quality control for plumbing and firefighting works..
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material specifications for the fire-fighting system.
Develop project reports, design basis reports (DBR), and calculation sheets.
Perform site inspections and quality checks for plumbing and firefighting works.
