NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA Certification preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
The role includes monitoring project schedules, addressing issues at job site meetings, and performing risk management to minimize project-related risks while collaborating with management and ensuring site safety and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
Safety Engineer will ensure the application of the slogan "Safety First" at Project.
Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies on site.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards.
Ensure proper use of PPE (Helmet, Safety Shoes, Vest, etc.).
Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports.
Conduct safety training and toolbox meetings.
Supervise high-risk activities (working at height, lifting, excavation).
Ensure fire safety and emergency preparedness.
Maintain safety documents (Risk Assessment, Method Statement).
Stop unsafe work and report to concerned authority.
Ensure safety compliance of contractors and subcontractors.
