Responsibilities & Context:

CITY University is seeking a Deputy Registrar/Assistant Registrar for its Registrar’s Office. This is an opportunity to take a senior role in the leadership and management of the administrative services.

The successful candidate should have substantial experience in operational management and team leadership, preferably in Higher Education; a significant knowledge base of information technology; and demonstrable ability to manage admission, data, records, and database systems.

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Registrar's Office, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

To ensure the smooth operation of student admission, registration, records management, and other administrative duties, this role requires a robust blend of academic knowledge and administrative expertise.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as proficiency in computer applications and a good understanding of relevant software.

 

Responsibility

  • Assist the registrar's office in organizing university admissions and plan to execute admission-related events.

  • Assist in arranging different local and international seminars, symposiums, workshops, training programs, international events, etc.

  • Assist the Registrar in the management of establishment matters, statutory compliances, and meetings, and contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans as well as goals for the Office of the Registrar, with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence.

  • Preparing the university`s Brochure/Catalog, Academic Calendar, Handbook, newsletter, Annual report, etc.

  • Ensure the accuracy, security, and accessibility of academic records. Develop and maintain systems for record-keeping, data management, and reporting, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

  • Analyzes, evaluates, and organizes office operations and procedures.
