Job Context:
∎ Sachetan Society (a non-govt.development organizations) is implementing Gold Star Member (GSM) initiatives under Community Mobilization Program with financial and technical support of Social Marketing Company (SMC) in 18 upazilas of Natore, Bogura, Siraganj, Rangpur, Jashore and Kushtia districts with a view to promote adoption of healthy behaviors of targeted populationand to create demand for productsand ensure easy availability of quality health, nutrition and family planning services. To expand of this program in two upazila (Sundarganj&Sadullapur ) of Gaibandha District, Sachetan Society seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of the project.

∎ Job Purpose: Under the guidance of Project Manager, the Deputy Project Manager (DPM) will be responsible for effective implementation of the Community Mobilization Project activities and will monitor day to day operations of the project and will ensure to achieve the goal of the project.S/he will provide support to the District Manager and UpazilaSupervisors to perform their job efficiently and effectively. The DPM is also expected to maintain a good working relationship with project team, and local government and non-government actors.
∎ Reporting to: Project Manager -Community Mobilization Project.
∎ Responsible for: To ensure effective implementation, monitoring and reporting of the project as planned
∎ Job Location-Natore/ Bogura or any district project office of the Community Mobilization Program
∎ Employment Status-Full Time (1 year contractual)
∎ Workplace-Working area (district level) of Community Mobilization Program of Sachetan Society
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Inter personal communication skill is highly required.
∎ The DPM is responsible for planning, supervision, reporting and monitoring of assigned project activities from the Project office.
∎ Monitoring project wise field activities and make a report to the Project Manager.
∎ Ensuring that all the logistics and supplies are up to date for proper functioning of the application at the field level.
∎ Make plan for staff development training, providing technical assistance in program for implementation
∎ Look after the administrative issues and logistic supply from the head office.
∎ Monitor the progress of program at the field level, manage risks, preparing plans.
∎ Resolve problems to keep the program on track with the help of Project Manager
∎ Provide information, feedback and support on project evaluation
∎ Make recommendation for future developments
∎ Keep regular liaison with project staff specially Project Manager
∎ Support and maintain coordination with local offices and Head office in the implementation of work plan
∎ Keep liaison with client, Government, educational institution, NGOs, Volunteers and similar projects through Team leader and Project Manager when and where required
∎ Follow guidance and instruction from Head Office management
∎ Compile, analyze and finalize the monthly, quarterly and yearly report.
∎ Facilitate in report writing and documentation with the help of Project Manager.
∎ Organize meetings, seminar and workshops through the help of Project Manager
∎ Any work set within the reason and means by the authority of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the relevant field in any health program under NGOs.
∎ Age 30 to 45 years (it may be relaxed for the extra ordinary candidates)
∎ Excellent staff management skills
∎ Risk assessment & minimization
∎ Proactive and excellent communication skills
∎ Sound in MS Office
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small group
∎ Women candidates will get preference.
