Job Context:
∎ Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non- government, non-profit, Bangladeshi organization providing lifesaving nutrition support to the FDMN Rohingya people of Cox’s Bazar under its integrated nutrition programme. As part of Nutrition interventions in support with WFP & UNICEF, SARPV is working for the treatment and prevention of malnutrition among under 5 children, adolescent, pregnant & lactating women in Rohingya community.
∎ Employment Status: Contractual, until 31st December 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Make sure the standard quality of nutrition program in the field (official, Unofficial camps and or Makeshift and or host community).
∎ Supervise the quality of service provided through nutrition program (outreach program, GM, OTP, Sprinkles and RUTF distribution, BSFP, TSFP) in camps.
∎ Supervise the work of nutrition centre supervisors and make sure good quality of their work.
∎ Supervise the implementation of standard treatment protocols in the nutrition centre.
∎ Identify the needs for training of different categories of staff in nutrition program.
∎ Inform the hierarchy and donor for the need of formal and on the job training for the staff of nutrition program (nutrition center supervisor, nutrition assistant, nutrition workers, growth monitors, and volunteers).
∎ Actively participate and facilitate training sessions for the different categories of staff in nutrition program.
∎ Report timely any problem related to the quality of nutrition program to the hierarchy, UNICEF and WFP.
∎ Objective 2: Make sure adequate and proper supplies and utilization of food, non-food items and medications in nutrition centre.
∎ Ensure the request order for food and non- food items and medications prepared by nutrition centre supervisors are adequate according to the need of program (OTP, Sprinkles and RUTF distribution, BSFP, TSFP).
∎ Ensure the proper utilization and use of food and nonfood items according to the standard protocols in nutrition program.
∎ Ensure the proper stock management at camp level for food, nonfood and medications are in place.
∎ Make sure that the beneficiaries are receiving and consuming the ration according to the standard protocols.
∎ Report timely any problem related to the supply chain and utilization of food, nonfood and medications in nutrition program to the hierarchy, UNICEF and WFP.
∎ Objective 3: Ensure the Staff management at camp level.
∎ Make sure proper attendance and presence of nutrition centre staff and respecting of working hours.
∎ Follow up of the days off for the staff and replacement of staff.
∎ Report any absence and not respecting of working hours to the nutrition program manager.
∎ Collection and checking of the attendance sheets at the end of each month for nutrition staff, volunteers and submission to the nutrition program manager.
∎ Make sure that the staff of nutrition program is following their job description and are able to fulfill required tasks timely and efficiently.
∎ Report timely any problem related to staff management to the hierarchy, UNICEF and WFP.
∎ Objective 4: To ensure that appropriate reporting system is in place.
∎ Make sure that nutrition centre supervisors are using standard reporting formats.
∎ Make sure that daily, weekly and monthly record of beneficiaries (admissions, cured, defaulters, death, transfer, gain of weight, length of stay, etc) is in place and staff of nutrition program is able to fulfill efficiently.
∎ Collection, compilation and analysis of the monthly reports from nutrition program (GM, OTP, Sprinkles and Plumpy Nut distribution, BSFP, TSFP) and submission to the hierarchy, UNICEF and WFP.
∎ Objective 5: Ensure the good Coordination, communication and collaboration with all the partners at camp level.
∎ Establish good working relationship with all the partners and the official authorities CIC.
∎ Timely communication of program related progress with them.
∎ Make sure that close follow up and feedback system is in place for the referral cases (nutrition center, OPD, IPD).
∎ Make sure proper communication, collaboration with other UNICEF and WFP programs (mental health, WASH, child protection, EDUCATION, food security) at camp level.
∎ Attend and represent SARPV during coordination meetings at camp level.
∎ Inform timely the hierarchy, UNICEF and WFP about any coordination meeting brief minutes of meeting take place at camp level.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years of experience in camp context or in relevant field.

Salary: Tk. 13500 (Monthly)
