Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure efficient transportation of personnel.
∎ Oversee the management of the organization's fleet of vehicles.
∎ Supervise and monitor all the drivers’ activities and evaluate their work performance one to one basis.
∎ Act as a champion on controlling & monitoring of driver.
∎ Ensure that all vehicles are well-maintained, serviced, and meet safety standards.
∎ Keeping records of vehicle-related documents like registration, route permit, tax token, insurance, etc.
∎ Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs. Monitor and control transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and personnel expenses·
∎ Coordinate the other departments & maintain good relationships with local Govt. Agencies.
∎ Monitor and update transport section budgets by implementing spend according to budget.
∎ Prepare duty roster for all the Transport Associates and assign duties as per business requirement.
∎ Keeps himself aware of the city situation on political or any other natural calamities and consult with Department Head whether a vehicle can be sent out of the premises under the circumstances.
∎ Any other duties that might be assigned by the Management as & when required.
∎ The incumbent shall be the representative of the organization to ensure efficient Transport facilities with strong administrative capability and handle each & every transport related issues efficiently, courteously and professionally. The incumbent has to perform the following duties but not limited to, as follows:
