Responsibilities & Context:
Export/Import Sales at a Leading Multinational Freight Forwarding Company in Bangladesh
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Deputy Manager/ Assistant Manager for Export/Import Sales . The ideal candidate will be reliable, driven, and understand the importance of collaborative teamwork.
Job Responsibilities:
- Aggressively pursue local sales targets.
- Conduct frequent market visits, negotiate, and confirm rates.
- Build and maintain a customer base through cold calling to identify potential freight forwarding business opportunities.
- Stay updated on current market trends and business opportunities.
- Offer customers comprehensive logistics solutions, including ocean and air imports/exports, distribution, warehousing, LTL/FTL transportation, cargo insurance, and customs brokerage.
- Maintain existing business relationships while seeking new growth opportunities.
- Ensure regular communication with internal departments and international offices.
- Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
