Educational Requirements:
∎ MSc in Environment/ Chemistry, BSc in Chemical/Textile Engineering.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have knowledge on DOE Updates, other legal authority and international requirements.
∎ Work experience with Brands like- Target, Inditex, C&A, M&S, H&M, Primark, PVH, BESTSELLER, AEO.
∎ Knowledge on Environmental Objective & Target, Policy and SOP preparation.
∎ Experience on Environmental Audit conduct. RCA and CAP preparation.
∎ Practical work experience on Higg FEM Implementation, and reporting.
∎ In-depth Knowledge on ZDHC- Roadmap to Zero program, TIG, Supplier to Zero program,
∎ Experience on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO-5001, OEKO-TEX -100, STeP by OEKO-TEX, GRS/RCS/OCS/GOTs.
∎ Leading Sustainability projects - CLP, Cbd, PaCT. Blue sign, C2C. Etc.
∎ Have work experience on Global reporting platform CDP, SBTi, ESG and GRI.
∎ Expertise on conduct Training. Sustainability Presentation and Training content preparation.
∎ Experience on industrial sustainability initiative to reduce Water, Energy and GHG emission.
∎ Industrial practice to lead the Circular Economy.
∎ Prior experience in Climate Change Campaign.
∎ Basic knowledge on Biological ETP, RO, and maintain required document.
∎ Have experience on brand’s and ZDHC ETP Assessment protocol/requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Prior experience working with international buyers on compliance and sustainable issues, e.g. Inditex (RTM, CTW, GTW, CFW), C&A (Clean Chain, ZDHC, SCM, Higg Index), Primark, H&M, M&S, P.V.H., Best Seller, Walmart, Li & Fung; etc.
∎ Proficient in reading and writing both Bangla and English;
∎ Good computer literacy, communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ The management will have the authorityu to change the scope of work and only short listed candidates will be contacted.
