Responsibilities & Context:

The Deputy Manager - Sales plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market expansion for the company. You will be responsible for overseeing a dynamic sales team, managing key accounts, and ensuring that the company’s products and services gain increased market presence in a highly competitive environment. You will need to possess excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of the market, customer preferences, and sales channels. You will serve as the link between senior management and the sales team, ensuring strategies are executed effectively on the ground.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Supervise and motivate a team of sales executives to ensure productivity and performance.

  • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to sales team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to track performance and strategize to overcome challenges.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through relationship building with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Expand the company`s market share by penetrating new customer segments and developing strong relationships with potential clients.

  • Attend industry events and represent the company to build its brand and network.

  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure visibility and relationship management with key customers and distributors.

  • Ensure optimal stock availability and provide timely service support to customers.

  • Address customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports detailing performance metrics and action plans.

  • Conduct sales performance analysis to identify gaps and initiate corrective actions.

  • Forecast sales volumes, revenue, and profit margins, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Manage relationships with distributors and ensure smooth execution of orders and payments.

  • Work closely with distributors to improve their market performance, providing them with relevant support and guidance.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all sales processes.
