Responsibilities & Context:

To lead and oversee quality assurance operations by ensuring compliance with product standards, supervising testing procedures, minimizing defects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in battery manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and monitor testing of incoming materials, intermediate, and finished products (Battery) in accordance with SOPs; maintain accurate test reports.

  • Oversee the operation of Spectro Lab and testing instruments for plates and batteries.

  • Ensure proper calibration of instruments and equipment to maintain testing accuracy.

  • Establish and enforce quality parameters and standards across production stages.

  • Communicate quality benchmarks to QA teams and coordinate with other departments.

  • Supervise material and battery testing processes, and participate in hands-on testing when required.

  • Monitor battery manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

  • Manage ERP-related QA operations and ensure data accuracy and traceability.

  • Analyze recurring defects or process deviations; recommend corrective actions.

  • Review customer feedback and prepare diagnosis reports for returned batteries.

  • Supervise and guide QA inspectors, technicians, and staff to ensure process and product integrity.

  • Ensure product consistency and reliability through regular process audits and final output checks.

  • Lead documentation and implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.

  • Monitor and take action to control process rejections and minimize market returns.

  • Evaluate process capability and stability to ensure continuous quality improvement.

  • Conduct visual inspections to confirm battery products meet defined standards.

  • Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
