Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Candidate must have sound knowledge on all types of Knit garment fabrics, yarn, trims and accessories.
∎ Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/delivery.
∎ Strong ability on Supply chain/Backward linkage management
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ H & M Working procedure familiar development sample till production sample.
∎ Familiar with on time fabrics booking ,accessories booking & on time in housing to support cutting and finishing.
∎ H & M Quality requirements familiar.
∎ Accustomed to 3-4 weeks shipment lead time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should be able to work under pressure and for long time.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills , action oriented approach to work and decision making.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic , well organized , self driven & have good personality to lead a Merchandising team.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must.
