Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Deputy Manager - MEAL will primarily responsible for coordinating and providing technical assistance to the project activities in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.
∎ S/he will be responsible for synchronizing the MEAL plan between Al Thani project and Child Poverty Sector in line with SCI guidelines by maintaining liaison among MEAL team in Cox's Bazar, Child Poverty sector and the country office MEAL team.
∎ S/he will coordinate to prepare and submit different reports, provide support in process documentation of the project and sub-themes of the sector.
∎ S/he will also generate qualitative materials and content and support capacity development of SC & partner staff in field of MEAL.
∎ The Deputy Manager will actively engage in national level Poverty related M&E working groups and maintain liaison and share Child Poverty programs information across SCI, as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in monitoring & evaluation, proven track record of developing, implementing and reviewing MEAL systems/strategies at sector level.
∎ Previous experience of successfully implementing Outcome Level Monitoring at Country/Sector Level.
∎ Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation methodologies, including skills in analysis, documentation and presentation of complex data/information.
∎ Experience in designing and implementing Technology based MEAL system/processes.
∎ Excellent analytical skills, effective negotiator, with the ability to proactively influence sectoral and departmental buy-in.
∎ Strong report writing and communication skills.
∎ Proficient in computer operation, particularly, in SPSS, MS-Excel, MS-Access, and MS-PowerPoint
