Experience:
6–7 years of progressive experience in trade or channel marketing, with at least 2–3 years in an operational trade marketing role.
Prior experience in the FMCG industry is mandatory.
Must do frequent field visits.
Ability to design and execute differentiated strategies for multiple channels.
Ensures effective deployment of visibility tools and POS materials.
Develops, implements, and evaluates trade schemes with high ROI.
Leverages market data, competition analysis, and shopper behavior insights.
Builds and nurtures relationships to drive execution and loyalty.
Trade Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute Trade Marketing plans for Loyalty Program, Wholesale Operation, Modern & General Trade Channels.
Align category and brand objectives with channel-specific activation strategies.
Forecast trade promotion budgets and ROI by channel, region, and product line.
Channel Development
Design and implement shopper-focused initiatives to enhance availability, visibility, and off-take.
Drive category management projects including planogram design, assortment strategy, and display guidelines.
Retail & Distributor Activation
Design and execute trade schemes, incentive programs, and local campaigns.
Manage retail visibility through POSM, in-store branding, and tactical trade engagement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Liaise with Sales, Brand, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure end-to-end alignment in campaign execution.
Support product launches and new pack introductions in trade.
Monitoring & Insights
Track and analyze performance of trade programs using sell-out, QPDS, distribution, and ROI data.
Recommend course-corrections through regular performance reviews and competitive benchmarking.
Agency & Vendor Management
Lead activation agencies, merchandisers, POSM vendors, and audit partners to ensure quality execution and compliance.
