Responsibilities & Context:
Company: Confidence Cement Dhaka Limited
Job Location: Danga Bazar, Palash, Narsingdi
Supervise and manage daily store operations, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and spares
Coordinate with surveyor to unloading, condition of Raw materials and to conduct draft surveys to determine the weight of the cargo
Verify shipping paperwork, including the bill of lading, commercial invoice, and packing lists
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all inventory transactions in ERP systems
Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations
Develop and enforce effective material handling and inventory control procedures
Coordinate closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure material availability as per operational requirements
Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and initiate timely disposal or reallocation
Ensure proper storage conditions and handling practices to minimize material damage and obsolescence
Conduct periodic physical stock verifications and reconcile discrepancies
Prepare and submit regular reports on stock status, consumption trends, and variance analysis
Lead, train, and motivate store personnel to maintain high performance and compliance with company policies
Liaise with the procurement department for timely replenishment of critical materials
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in store operations
Perform any other tasks assigned by the management
