Responsibilities & Context:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Research & Development (R&D) drives innovation and ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality and market relevance. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Manager/Manager to lead our R&D team, guide strategic initiatives, and spearhead new product de- velopment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
Strategic Leadership: Set the strategic direction for the R&D department, aligning it with the company's overall goals and market needs.
Project Management: Oversee the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure new products meet market demands and customer expectations.
Innovation: Lead key projects that support business objectives, incorporating the latest industry developments to improve existing products and explore new opportunities.
Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure top-tier quality.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, funders, and decision-makers, to drive the company's innovation agenda.
